Treasurers Report 2008
I am delighted to present the Treasurers report for the financial year ending March 2009.
Windsor Women’s Centre continue to face ongoing struggles to secure funding for the varied programme of work such as training, crèche, toddler room, baby room, afterschool club and education courses, to name just a few of the much sought after places open to the local community and beyond.
Finding the funds yearly to pay for the activities is a great challenge for the Management Board and staff and also very stressful. However, each year we are up to the challenge of securing the necessary funds to deliver a wide and varied programme of work.
A cocktail of funders is very apparent in our annual report this year, and the Finance Officer, Mrs Margaret Couchman and the Administrator, Mrs Ruth Flavelle manage and administer these funds in a difficult financial climate and I would like to thank them, on behalf of the Board of Windsor Women’s Centre for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.
